Once you and Tamra have a plan, Tamra applies a topical numbing agent to keep you comfortable. The injections themselves take about 15-20 minutes. Most patients describe the sensation as a slight pressure with occasional pinching.

You will see your results right away. Some swelling is normal for the first 24-48 hours, which means your lips will look slightly fuller than the final result at first. Once the swelling settles, the shape you see is the shape you keep for the next 6-8 months.

Restylane lip filler results are immediate. The final, settled shape appears within 5-7 days as swelling resolves completely.

For the first 24 hours: avoid intense exercise, hot beverages, and alcohol. Skip lipstick for the rest of the day. Icing your lips on and off for the first few hours helps minimize swelling.

Results last 6-8 months. As the hyaluronic acid gradually breaks down, your lips return to their pre-treatment shape. A maintenance appointment twice a year keeps your results consistent.
